Welcome to Kad Sala craft Village, a charming local village with a beautiful view of the mountains of Chiang Mai, lovingly run by two wonderful women from the community, Pantila & Mae Nai. Their authentic connections with the local people make every visit a truly magical as well as credible experience.

Story

Get to know us

Kad Sala, nestled in San Pa Tong, Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a village dedicated to promoting cultural immersion, providing hands-on workshops, and offering volunteering opportunities.

Guided by Pantila & Mae Nai, we aim to enrich tourism experiences and support the local community while preserving traditional practices.

Workshop at the hidden house in the mountains.

  •  ⁠Weaving & Thai Cooking class; 

  •  ⁠Learn how to do the weaving;

  • ⁠Cooking delicious Thai dishes with a local family;

  • ⁠Step on the mud to do the mud bricks;

  • Enjoy the stunning scenery and the warm hospitality of the village;

  • ⁠Visit a waterfall + swim.

              Time: 8.00 am - 4 pm. In the Chiang Mai city.

               Price: 4,500 baht / people, at least 2 people.

  4. Visit the ancient city site of Wiang Thak an and stop by the UNESCO- awarded tobacco museum

  5. Visit Ban Thawai, a center for wood carving handicrafts, to help make a short video to promote it.
